About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our team at Craft.AI and contribute to the development of innovative AI-driven solutions, including large language models (LLMs) and machine learning (ML) applications. You will work closely with our Product and Tech teams, play a key role in shaping the Platform’s future, and stay at the forefront of industry advancements. You will own end-to-end development from designing robust data pipelines to deploying and optimizing scalable ML / LLM-powered systems.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and optimize LLM-powered applications and ML models.
Design scalable data pipelines and deploy ML/LLM models in production.
Collaborate on product roadmaps and contribute to continuous improvement of CraftGPT and other AI-based tools.
Lead technical workshops and design sessions for new features.
Handle full project lifecycles: problem definition, model deployment, and ongoing enhancements.
Stress-test platform infrastructure and work closely with GPU-based environments.
Support and mentor junior team members, contributing to team growth and recruitment efforts.

Profil recherché

Required Technical Skills

Strong proficiency in Python, with experience in product development.
Expertise in ML techniques, LLM methods, and open-source techniques.
Experience with key tools and libraries: FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, TensorFlow/PyTorch, Docker, Transformers, VectorDB, model quantization, and deployment frameworks (vLLM, LMdeploy).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and system design for scalable architectures.
Applied knowledge of containerization (Docker, K8s) and GPU instance management.
Strong understanding of MLOps workflows, CI/CD, and version control systems like Git.

Preferred Experience

3+ years in data science or Machine Learning roles.
Hands-on experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems and NLP.
Experience with cloud services, including S3 and virtual machines, and cloud infrastructure best practices.
